Month Three

You turned 3 months old on Sunday. You are growing so big, your Mama is having trouble carrying you around in your car seat. I sometimes honk at Daddy to come get you out of the car, but one day I did that and he was already right there in the garage! You still love to have him carry you around in the Daddy chair. When he bends down to kiss you, your fuzzy hair tickles his nose.

You still wake up in the best mood in the mornings, probably because you often sleep for 12 hours with a short milk break in the middle. Today you played for a while in bed with all three of us. You tell us stories about "Goo" and "Blar" and "Agee". You visited briefly with the Pink Baby, who you liked at first sight. You are much better now at reaching and grabbing things that you want, especially Soren's pretty hair.

On the days we pick up Soren from school, you are so excited when she crawls into the back seat to sit with you. She tells you about her day and sings songs while you grin and babble at her.

You have adjusted really well to Peggy's House. You like to lie under the gym and watch the colorful toys. Sometimes Mama picks you up and you are wearing someone else's clothes, because yours were involved in a stinky incident. This morning when I handed you to Peggy, you watched me back away and got the saddest pout on your little mouth. But Peggy knows just how to cheer up little chubby babies.

Current nicknames include: Chubby, Chunky, Goober, Fuzzy, Monkey, Munchkin, Snuggle Puppy and Teddy Bear.

We're making little movies of you occasionally, so we can look back on them and see how small you really were, and how earnestly you tried to communicate with us. Your Daddy and I talk about our girls every night after you go to sleep - how wonderful and beautiful you both are. We sneak into your room when you're sleeping to stare at your perfect face, and Daddy calls you "Daddy's baby". We're so lucky to have you.
