Month Four
You turned 4 months old yesterday, little munchkin. We took you to your checkup and you are 15 pounds and 25 inches (80th and 75th percentile). You have graduated to a bigger car seat that we don't ever have to lift. You smile and babble and mimic words we say to you.
Your favorite tricks are standing up and rolling over - you especially like to roll on your tummy and enjoy the new perspective. Daddy taught you how to pull your knees up under your tummy and Soren is working on your advanced crawling skills.
You are getting better at grabbing and holding things, which now go straight into your mouth: your fingers, our fingers, blankets, toys, bits of fuzz... You drool a lot and we wonder when you will cut your first tooth.
You like to play with toys, but your favorite things are still your parents and your Soren. You sleep on your tummy now, so perhaps your hair will start to grow back in where you have rubbed a bald spot. Of course, you are still the prettiest girl we've ever seen. We get sad when you fall asleep early and we lose that much Ava time. (But then we get to make it up around 4am!!)
